Alpine Apartments receives highly polarized reviews reflecting two distinct resident experiences. The majority of residents (77%) report positive experiences, particularly praising responsive maintenance staff and helpful office personnel who facilitate smooth move-ins and address maintenance requests promptly. However, a significant minority (21%) report serious concerns including pest infestations, odor issues, high fees, maintenance delays, and property condition problems. Common complaints center on mice and insect problems, hallway odors, aging infrastructure, and disputes over deposits and charges, while positive reviews consistently highlight staff professionalism and courteous service.

Management and office staff receive consistent praise for responsiveness, helpfulness, and genuine care, with many residents highlighting smooth move-in experiences and effective communication. Maintenance staff are frequently noted as prompt and professional. However, some residents report challenges with maintenance response times, billing clarity, and policy enforcement, with concerns about late fees and lease term handling.

Maintenance response is generally quick and effective, with most residents reporting positive experiences with work order completion and repair quality. Staff demonstrate professionalism and courtesy, with particular strength in addressing plumbing, appliance, and structural repairs. A small number of residents reported delayed responses to non-emergency requests or concerns about emergency classification criteria.

Building condition and maintenance are significant concerns, with recurring reports of pest infestation (mice, insects), odors in common areas, and deferred upkeep issues. Physical finishes show wear, including damaged doors, worn fixtures, and carpet condition problems. Noise transmission between units and hallway odors are commonly noted. While some residents report adequate apartment size and occasional positive maintenance interactions, the overall pattern indicates the building requires substantial attention to pest management, cleanliness standards, and structural repairs.

The property is located in a quiet, clean area with friendly community atmosphere. Residents appreciate the convenient, well-maintained surroundings and accessible location. One resident noted concerns about unit condition upon move-in relative to online listings.

Residents report significant maintenance and upkeep issues across shared spaces and units, including non-functional laundry equipment, elevator concerns, and hallway odor problems. Common complaints include delayed communication from management, undisclosed utility fees appearing months into tenancy, and shared amenities in poor condition such as overflowing trash and slow elevators. Unit-level finishes show signs of incomplete repairs rather than replacement, raising concerns about move-in condition relative to rental rates.
