Parkstone at Knightdale Apartments

Parkstone at Knightdale offers spacious, well-maintained apartments with responsive maintenance service that residents consistently praise. However, the community experiences significant challenges with noise enforcement, community rule compliance, and inconsistent office communication and customer service. Management transitions have created operational disruptions, and residents report ongoing issues with amenity maintenance, pest control responsiveness, and trash management.

Management responsiveness and staff professionalism are inconsistent across the property. While maintenance staff consistently receive praise for prompt, professional service, office and leasing staff experiences vary significantly—some residents report friendly, responsive communication and problem-solving, while others describe delayed responses, poor communication, and difficulty reaching the office by phone. Staff turnover has been notable, with management changes affecting service quality and resident relationships.

Maintenance response is consistently fast, with most work orders addressed same-day or next-day. The maintenance team is described as professional, friendly, and thorough in completing repairs across appliances, plumbing, and general maintenance issues. However, some residents report delays in addressing pest control and structural issues like ceiling cracks, and move-in readiness concerns have been noted in isolated cases.

Parkstone offers well-maintained apartments with responsive maintenance service and quality amenities including a pool, gym, and game spaces. However, residents report inconsistent enforcement of community policies, particularly regarding noise and quiet hours, along with recurring issues of trash overflow and parking challenges. Grounds and common areas are generally kept clean, though some amenities like the car wash operate seasonally with limited functionality.

The neighborhood offers good location convenience with nearby food and activities, and the grounds are generally well-maintained. Parking availability is a recurring concern, with residents reporting difficulty finding spaces. Noise from neighbors and community activities is a notable issue for some residents, particularly during early morning and late evening hours. Management maintains responsive maintenance service, though enforcement of community policies varies.

Building quality experiences are mixed. While grounds maintenance and regular inspections are noted as well-managed, residents report concerns with move-in readiness, pest control responsiveness, and interior finishes including ceiling cracks and wall scuffs. Communication delays on maintenance requests have extended resolution times for reported issues.
